Boat to Håholmen is an easy and comfortable journey from Geitøya by the Atlantic Road, and during the summer season the boat operates on a fixed schedule. From September to May, however, transfers are arranged by appointment, so pickup and drop-off take place directly at Geitøya. Moreover, the crossing is short and smooth, and therefore takes only 5–7 minutes.
